Required Qualifications/Skills: Energetic and organized junior- or senior-level college student or graduate student. Candidates should be able to carry out independent library and database research. Students must be earning academic credit at the time of the internship.
Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct basic research tasks relating to the exhibitions, events and collections; maintain administrative files. Assist with the planning and implementation of events; assist with membership retention and solicitation; highly motivated candidates will have the opportunity to shape their internship experience towards self-defined goals.
Qualifications: Basic photographic skills. Basic computer skills (especially in a Macintosh environment) are required. Candidate must possess good writing and research skills. Familiarity with software including illustrator, photoshop and word. Must be organized, detail oriented, independent and flexible with the ability to be self-guided in tasks. Public relations/marketing experience a plus. Communications skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
Length of Program: Flexible to fit program requirements
Compensation: Unpaid
Must be for College Credit
